Welcome to the course site for CMS.361/861, Networked Social Movements: Media & Mobilization! This seminar is a space for collaborative inquiry into the relationships between social movements and the media. We’ll review these relationships through the lens of social movement theory, and work together to develop projects that analyze movement media practices in comparative perspective. The course meets Wednesday afternoons, 2-5pm in MIT’s E15-335; for more info check out the About page and the Syllabus.
